On August 4th we were recording improvisations at Tunefork Studios. At 5:00pm we recorded the piece below and 30 minutes after, we witnessed the blast of the Beirut Port from the studio balcony.
It takes time to process what happened on this day and to understand where we were and where we are now physically, emotionally and musically. We decided to put the recording out, to share with you all as an archive the state of mind we were in 30 minutes before the blast - here it is, unhinged, uncut and of course free.
